Bobby Ray Gilbert's rendition of J.D. Hillberry's "Fooled". Here is Hillberry's description of this piece:
"The idea of this drawing incorporates several layers of deception. The butterfly may have mistaken a photo of a flower for the real thing, and you, the viewer, may have been fooled as well, since the entire image is drawn - including the illusion of a photo."
This piece measures 9x12 in size and was done in charcoal, graphite and carbon pencil. It is signed and dated on the bottom right hand corner.
